Carberry, Lizzie (SEP 1886)
Married, at the residence of the bride’s parents, in the town of Friendship, Fond du Lac Co., by Rev. Gather Taugher, Mr. Henry J. Freeman of Spencer, Wis., and Miss Lizzie Carberry.
The bride is well and favorably known to many of the readers of this paper, having been, for two or three years past, a teacher in this vicinity. Henry is the youngest son of Dr. D. R. Freeman and is really a Colby, Clark Co. boy, was reared in our midst. He came to Colby a mere child and grew up right with us. For several years past he has been in the employment of the Wis. Central Railroad Co. as station agent at Stetsonville and Spencer. He has a host of friends on the line, who will wish him and his bride many years of happiness and prosperity and the Phonograph goes with the crowd. Henry, May you so live and conduct yourself, in all matters pertaining to the family, that when you have arrived at a ripe old age and prepared to shuffle off this mortal coil, you will still retain a full head of hair.
