Greseke, Minna (3 JAN 1888)
Married, at the Lutheran Church in this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), on Tuesday, Jan. 3rd, 1888, by Rev. Fred Otte, Mr. Albert Kleinfeldt of Oshkosh, and Miss Minna Greseke of Colby.
After the ceremony the happy couple was escorted to the residence of the bride’s parents by a large number of friends headed by the band. Here an excellent dinner was served to the party. During the afternoon and evening the spacious rooms of the Greseke dwelling were filled to overflowing with the many friends of the newly wedded pair, and loud were the praises given Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Greseke as entertainers. The best of everything was set before the guests. Fun, mirth and jollity held sway until the wee small hours warned them of approaching dawn. The presents bestowed were numerous, useful and costly. The happy couple leave for Oshkosh today, where they will make their future home, followed by the best wishes of a large circle of friends.
