Thomas, Annie (SEP 1888)
(Marshfield Times)
Married, at the Catholic Church, Tuesday morning, at 10 o’clock a.m., Rev. Father Schaller officiating, M. G. Fleckenstein of Colby, Wis., and Miss Annie Thomas, of this city.
After the ceremony an informal reception was held at the Thomas house, and at two o’clock Mr. and Mrs. Fleckenstein departed for Portage City and points in that vicinity.
This newly united pair are so well and favorably known in Marshfield society that commendable words of our would be of no avail. Mr. Fleckenstein has for years been one of the trusty and efficient employees of the Wis. Central road, an experienced telegraph operator and now manager and agent at the Colby, Clark Co., Wis. office of the company.
Miss Annie Thomas,
now Mrs. Fleckenstein, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Thomas of the Thomas House, is a cultured young lady so favorably
known that it is almost unnecessary to say that "Mike" has won a
prize and we will only say that nothing but the best of wishes from
their large circle of friends go with Mr. and Mrs. Fleckenstein,
whose future home will be at Colby.
