Soderberg, Eugene D. (Jul 1928 - 5 JUN 1930)

Eugene Donald Soderberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Soderberg, aged one year and eleven months, met almost instant death on Saturday last on Highway 29 in the west part of the village. The little one ran onto the highway and was struck by a Ford Roadster driven by Raymond Draheim of the town of Reseburg. The boy suffered a fracture of the skull and died a short time after being taken to his home near the scene of the accident.

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Church on Tuesday following by interment in the Catholic Cemetery. The pall bearers were : Burke Piper, Raymond Schmidt, Roger Possley and Eugene Wilhelm.
