Budzinski, Mary (24 OCT 1885 - 22 Jul 1930)

Mrs. Frank J. Budzinski passed away Tuesday morning, July 22, 1930, at Grandview Hospital at La Crosse, Wis. Death was due to heart trouble.

Mrs. Budzinski was born in Poznan, Poland, on Oct. 24, 1885, and came to this country at the age of four years with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kryzanski. At the age of 15 she came to Thorp, Clark Co., Wis. and at the age of 19 was married to Frank J. Budzinski.

Mr. and Mrs. Budzinski made their home in Thorp, where seven children were born, one Bernice, passed away four years ago.

She leaves to mourn, her husband and six children, Mary, John, Joe, Frank Jr. and Helen Budzinski of Thorp and Mrs. Walter L. Egan of Chicago, Ill.; also her son-in-law, Walter L. Egan of Chicago, and her granddaughter, Charlene Egan.

She also leaves two brothers, Joe and Casimer, and three sisters, Victoria, Elizabeth and Wanda.

Those who attended the funeral from out of town are as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Egan, Mrs. E. Luckstein and children, Mr. and Mrs. S. Bambera and daughter, Regina, Mrs. Tony Tudzinski and Mrs. Joe Andrewkiewicz, all of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Budzinski and family and Alex Rogalski of Merrillan, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. J. Slota of Gilman.

The funeral was held from her late home Friday, July 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hedwig’s Church, where High Mass was sung by Rev. Father Kulig. Burial was held in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.

Mary Budzinski  is buried in the cemetery behind St. Hedwig's Church,

in a Polish settlement known as "Poznan".  It is located 2 miles East of Thorp, Wisconsin on County Rd. X.
