Turenne, George (22 Feb 1900 - 18 NOV 1930)

George Turenne, aged thirty years, a former resident of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., and son of Mrs. Louis Turenne now of Owen, Clark Co., died at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls, on Tuesday Nov. 18th, 1930, having been in ill health for the past six months.

Deceased was born at Fond du Lac on Feb. 22, 1900. He lived the greater part of his life with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Turenne, in the town of Reseburg. About three years ago he moved with his wife and children to Cadott, where he ran a restaurant and about one year ago he moved to Boyd where he conducted an oil station on Highway 29.

Deceased leaves to mourn his early demise, his widow and four children, Norbert, 10 years old, Evelyn 9, George Jr. 20 months and Gerald 4 week, also his mother, Mrs. Louis Turenne of Owen, three brothers, Joseph, Peter and Bert of Thorp, two sisters, Mrs. A.N. Yates of Owen and Mrs. C. R. Flanders of Fond du Lac.

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard’s Church at Thorp on Friday morning last, Rev. A. M. Muckerheide officiating, and interment following the service in the Catholic Cemetery.
