Miss Wilma Colby, and Julius A. Lange Jr. were united in marriage May 28 at the Dorchester parsonage of Christ Lutheran Church of Abbotsford and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Dorchester with the Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiating.
W. O. Colby of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Julius H. Lange of Abbotsford are parents of the couple.
The couple’s only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Dray, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, of Medford.
The bride choose a light pink suit of butcher linen, complimented with a rose hat with pink carnations and tan accessories. Her flowers were white carnations and pink roses.
A reception was held at the Abbotsford city hall with 100 guests attending from Rockford and Wheaton, Ill., Milwaukee, Portage, Wisconsin Rapids, Deronda, Spencer, Unity, Greenwood, Owen, Dorchester, Medford and Rib Lake.
After a wedding trip to Chicago and Rockford, Ill., and the southern Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in Abbotsford.
The bride is a graduate of Abbotsford schools and the groom is a graduate of Loyal schools. Both are employed at Streckert Mfg., Abbotsford.
