Lange, Julius H. (23 Dec. 1897 - 18 May 1988)
Owen, Julius H. Lange, 90, Curtiss, died at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. The Rev. Tom Willadsen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in North Green Grove.
Visitation will be at the Maurina Funeral Home, Owen, from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
He was born Dec. 23, 1897, in Atwood, to August and Emma Lange. He attended school in Atwood.
He married Viola Wittlinger March 12, 1919, in Neillsville. She died Oct. 6, 1976.
They farmed near Green Grove until 1962 when they moved to Lake Holcombe. They celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1969. He then resided in Atlanta, Ga., from 1980 - 1986. He has resided in the Walter’s Home at Curtiss for the past two years.
He is survived by two sons, Julius of Abbotsford, and Duane of Madison; one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Irene) Larson of Atlanta; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Frieda) Callyp of Milwaukee, and Ida Lange of Ashland, eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife, three sisters, and four brothers.
