Loyal - Mrs. Iva Stevens, 77, Route 1, Loyal, Town of Loyal, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday at Neillsville Memorial Home.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Loyal with the Rev. Arlene Denzer officiating. Burial will be in Loyal Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rodell Scheel, John Trygstad, Joe Guastella, James Stevens Jr., and Eric and Scott Stevens.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at the Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, and at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
She was born Feb. 27, 1910, in the Town of Beaver, to William and Clara Nelson. She attended schools in the Town of Beaver and Stevens Point Normal School.
She was married to Stanley Stevens Nov. 1, 1930, in Hudson, Minn. He survives. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1980, and 55th in 1985. They farmed in the Town of Loyal, and she taught in various schools in Loyal area.
She was a member of the Teachers Association and Town of Sherman Homemakers Club.
Surviving besides her husband are, a son, James of Sun Prairie; a daughter, Mrs. Rodelle (Kathleen) Scheel of Sun Prairie; a sister, Mrs. Veryl Grosnick of Manitowoc; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters and her parents.
