That really is interesting! Can you tell us more? I'm not familiar with that particular painting myself. Can you possibly send a scan of it (and maybe a photograph of her as well) and would you be interesting in writing an article about this for the site? This sounds like it needs to be recorded in these county records. Do you have any idea how she happen to be the subject of the painting?
