Olson, Irene Clara (10 Nov. 1924 - 8 Sept. 1968)

CURTISS, WIS. - Funeral services for Mrs. Wayne (Irene) Olson, 43, Curtiss, who died at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church here. The Rev. Roger Tellock will officiate, and burial will be made in the Pine Hill Cemetery here.

The body will repose at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home in Owen until the time of services.

The former Irene Clara Schuette was born Nov. 10, 1924, in the town of Beaver, and received her education at the Colby High School and the Vocational School in Eau Claire. Mrs. Olson had been employed at the Curtiss State Bank in Curtiss.

Her marriage to Wayne Olson took place Aug. 31, 1946, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in the town of Green Grove.

Mrs. Olson was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the A. L. C. W. and the Parent-Teachers Association.

In addition to her husband, survivors are four daughters, Diana, Eau Claire; Donna, Betty Ann and Christine Lily, at home; three sons, Dennis, Decorah, Iowa; Allen and Robert, at home; her mother, Mrs. Walter (Lily) Schuette, Unity; four sisters, Mrs. Carl (Elpha) Zarnsdorf, Owen; Mrs. Frank (Blanche) Zimmerman, Loyal; and Mrs. Jerry (Connie) Uhlig, Sturdevant; and two brothers, Eldred and Delbert, of Unity.
