MALINOWSKI NOVAK BARTOL ----Sources: THORP
COURIER (Thorp, Clark County, Wis.) 08/14/1930 Malinowski, Marie
(28 Jul 1930) Princeton, Wis.,
Republic Monday morning,
July 28, 1930, at the early hour of eight o’clock, St.
Mary’s Catholic church, Milwaukee, provided a charming
setting for the marriage of Frank Novak, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Novak, Sr., this city, to Marie Malinowski, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Anton Malinowski, Thorp, Clark Co., Wis. The altars were
decorated with cut flowers. Large Ferns formed an arch through
which the wedding party march to reach the altar. Rev. J. C.
Knitter, a former pastor of the St. John’s Catholic Church,
this city, spoke the solemn words. The bride’s
costume consisted of a peach chiffon and a large picture hat to
match. She carried a shower bouquet of tea roses and butterfly
roses and gypsophelia. She was attended by the groom’s
sister, Miss Theresa M. Novak, who wore a smart printed chiffon and
a large green picture hat. The bridesmaid carried an arm bouquet of
ink roses and orchid larkspur. She was accompanied by Mr. August
Bartol of Cudahy. The wedding
breakfast was served at the apartment of the groom’s sister.
The room was artistically decorated in pink and white and the same
color scheme was carried throughout. The table centerpiece was made
of larkspur gypsophelia and pink roses. The newlyweds
departed to Princeton later in the day and were accompanied here by
their attendants. The young couple will make this city their home
with his parents. The Republic
extends its congratulations and wishes for them happiness and
prosperity throughout their journey of wedded life.
