JUN 1931) A very pretty
wedding took place at St. Hedwig’s Church on Tuesday morning
at 10 o’clock when Miss Helen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Christ Price of Thorp, Clark Co., Wis., and Victor, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Drozd of Stanley, Wis., were united in the holy bonds of
matrimony by Rev. F. A. Kulig. The bride was
attired in a gown of white satin, white silk net cap style veil and
carried a beautiful bouquet of lilies and ferns. She was attended
by maid of honor, Miss Clara Tykala of Chicago, attired in a pink
taffeta dress, Miss Wanda Dubicki in a blue taffeta dress with
white slippers, stockings and wreaths. They all carried a bouquet
of tea roses, stocks matching the dress and fern. The groom was
attended by best man, Michael Drozd, brother of the groom, of
Stanley, and Christ Price, brother of the bride, of Thorp. They all
wore conventional blue suits. A reception
followed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents
which was attend by a large number of friends and relatives. The young couple
left for their honeymoon trip to the Yellowstone Park, and upon
their return will mke their home in Stanley where the groom is
employed in the Farmers Store. The newlyweds have
the best wishes from all friends and relatives for a long and happy
life of wedded bliss.
