JUN 1931) Mr. Adam Novak,
son of Mrs. John Barski, and Mrs. Mary Czapla, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Obryk, were united in the holy bonds of matrimony at 9
o’clock A.M., June 27th, 1931, at "Matki Bosky
Czestochowasky" Church in Chicago. Joseph Obryk, bride’s
brother, was best man, and Evelyn Wojtkeiwicz, sister of the groom
acted as bridesmaid. Sophie Czapla, daughter of the bride, was the
ring bearer. The bride wore a white bridal satin gown with a
corsage and lilies of the valley adorning her hair. The bridesmaid
wore a blue chiffon gown with lilies of the valley in her hair
also. The ring bearer wore white georgette dress, carrying ring on
a satin pillow. The bridegroom and the best man wore tuxedos. A
reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
