Guenther, Erma (Marriage - 20 Aug.)
The Rev. Lloyd Foster officiated Saturday, Aug. 20, at the 4 p.m. ceremony uniting Miss Erma Guenther, Wisconsin Rapids, and Gilbert Wiedenhoeft, Unity. The First Methodist Church, Wisconsin Rapids, was the scene of the nuptials.
Organists were Misses Charlotte and Margaret Bellmer, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Raymond Welk, also of Milwaukee, was soloist.
Serving as maid of honor was Miss Evelyn Wicker and Robert Guenter, the latter of New York City the best man. Ushers included Gilbert Wiedenhoeft and Thomas Forbish.
A reception and buffet dinner were held at the church immediately after the ceremony.
The former Miss Guenter is a teacher of special education in Wisconsin Rapids and Mr. Wiedenhoeft is the owner and operator of a store in Unity.
