They farmed until 1993, at which time they sold the farm to their son, David, and moved into Greenwood. He was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council and sang in the choir, served 16 years on the town of Eaton board, and was a member of the Clark County Male Chorus. His interests included spending time with family and friends, farming, hunting, and fishing in his younger years.
