Died, at her home in Kansas City, Mo., on Sunday, April 21st, 1889, of congestive heart chills, Mrs. Emma Frances, wife of Mr. D. A. Newcombe, aged 36 years and 1 month.

Many of our readers will recognize in the deceased, Miss Frankie Shaw, who made her home in this village (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), for a short time, several years ago, with her sister, Mrs. W. H. Bartell. She was a warm hearted earnest woman, loved by all who made her acquaintance. Many friends and acquaintances here who will regret her early demise. The remains were brought to Milwaukee and interred in Forest Home Cemetery.
