Vetter, Alma (6 MAY 1862 - 11 Sep 1890)
Died, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Emaline Wicker, in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., wife of Frank Vetter, in the 29th year of her age.
Alma Wicker was born in Trenton, Washington Co., May 6th, 1862, and came to Colby with her parents in Oct. 1872, when the family settled where Mrs. Wicker now resides. Alma was a close student at the district schools, was quiet and gentle in her demeanor and was a general favorite among her schoolmates. She commenced teaching at an early age and taught successfully until the time of her marriage with Frank Vetter, which occurred Sept. 26th, 1882. Two children blessed this union, both surviving and with the father mourn the loss of a loving mother and a true wife.
Mrs. Vetter had been sick for some months past and for some days past her death has been almost hourly expected. Her friends were numbered by the scores, all of whom will mourn the loss of a true friends, and will deeply sympathize with the bereaved relatives.
The funeral will occur at the M. E. Church, Sunday morning at 10 o’clock, Rev. C. D. Scott officiating.
