DEC 1841 - 20 May 1891) Died, at her home
in the town of Frankfort, Marathon Co., the morning of May 20th,
1891, Mary, wife of Andrew J. Prentice, aged 51 years. Mary Ehle was born
in the state of New York, and came to Wisconsin while quite young,
settling with her parents in Fond du Lac Co.. n 1865 she was united
in marriage with Andrew J. Prentice. Four children blessed this
union, three of whom, Charles, Katie and Robert survive, and with
the husband mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. In the spring of
1874 she came with her husband and family to this place and settled
in that portion of the town of Wien, which is now the town of
Frankfort, where they have since resided. Mrs. Prentice was
a quiet, gentle woman and won the love and respect of all with whom
she came in contact. The funeral will
be held at the home, on account of the sickness of Mr. Prentice,
tomorrow morning, and the remains will be interred in the Colby
Cemetery.
