Awe, Alvina (28 MAY 1932)
Miss Alvina Awe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry O. Awe, Green Grove became the bride of Albert Laabs of Curtiss at a ceremony which was performed Saturday, May 28th, by Justice E. Nielsen at his home in Withee.
The bride was attired in an ankle length gown of light blue satin and a band of rhinestones. The couple was attended by Miss Lena Awe and Hubert Schauer.
A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride to immediate relatives. In the evening a free wedding dance was given at the Wiedenhoft Park in Colby which was attended by a very large crowd.
Mr. and Mrs. Laabs will make their home in Abbotsford where the groom is employed at the E. J. Crane Warehouse. The well wishes of a host of friends and relatives follow the young people on their voyage on the sea of matrimony.
