(21 Dec 1890) Married, at the
residence of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. Eggebrecht,
in the town of Frankfort, Marathon Co., on Tuesday evening, Dec.
21, 1890, by Rev. Chr. J. H. Droegenueller, Mr. William Hamann of
Wein, and Miss Lizzie Eggebrecht of Frankfort. Mr. Hamann is an
enterprising young farmer and lumberman whose sterling traits of
character and successful business relations have secured him the
reputation of being one of the most prominent young men of Marathon
co. His bride is a young woman who is a favorite among her large
circle of friends, and who is well worthy of the man she has won.
The doors of the residence of the bride’s parents were thrown
open to a large number of guests who assembled to partake of the
good things offered them, and to extend hearty well wishes to the
newly married couple. They received many useful presents.
