Mrs. Amelia Mundt, 84, of route 1, Chili, died Tuesday at the Memorial Hospital in Neillsville. Funeral services will be held Friday at the United Methodist Church at Chili. Burial will be made in the Yolo cemetery in Chili.
The former Amelia Pischer was born Oct. 27, 1886 in the town of Grant, and was married July 4, 1904, in Marshfield, to Charles Mundt, who preceded her in death in 1951.
Survivors include three sons, Raymond Mundt, Chili; and Lemont and Clarence Mundt, both of Yakima, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Nioma) Portz, Pittsville; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Philmore Pischer, Marshfield.
Mrs. Mundt was preceded in death by a daughter, four sisters, and four brothers.
Note: the newspaper clipping listed date of birth at Oct. 27, 1896. The date was changed to reflect what is on the tombstone.
