CHILI - Edward Barth, 80, route 1, Chili, died Sunday at the Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Nasonville. Burial will be in the Yolo cemetery, Town of Fremont.

Mr. Barth was born March 10, 1895, and educated in the Town of Fremont. He spent his entire life on the farm where he was born.

He married the former Lena Bealer on April 28, 1936, at Grace Lutheran Church. She survives.

Other survivors include two sons, Ernest, Morgantown, W.Va., and Garth, Chili; two brothers, Edwin and John, both of Chili, and a sister, Mrs. Ottilia Peterson, Marshfield.

Preceding him in death were three sisters and a brother.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Barth, Edward (10 March 1895- 8 February 1976)

Funeral services were to be held Wednesday, February 11, at 2 p.m. from Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville, for Edward Barth, 80, of Rt. 1 Chili, who died February 8 in Neillsville. The Rev. Stephen Ellerbusch was to officiate, and burial was to follow in the Yolo Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton.

Mr. Barth was born March 10, 1895, in the Town of Fremont and received his education there. His marriage to the former Lena Bealer took place April 28, 1936, at Grace Lutheran Church. He lived his entire lifetime on the farm where he was born.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two sons, Ernest of Morgantown, W.V., and Garth of Chili; two brothers, Edwin and John, both of Chili; and one sister, Mrs. Ottelia Peterson of Marshfield.
