GRANTON - Lena B. Barth, 78, Chili, died Saturday at St. Joseph's hospital, Marshfield. Services will be held Tuesday at Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton. Burial will be in Yolo Cemetery, Town of Fremont.

She was born Jan 1, 1911, in the town of Fremont, to the late Paul and Louise Bealer. She attended Forest Side School, town of Fremont. She also attended nursing school in Rochester, Minn., where she was employed for a short time.

She was married to Edward J. Barth, April 28, 1936 in Nasonville. He died Feb. 7, 1976. She and her husband farmed in the town of Fremont for many years.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville, and the Forest Side Homemakers Club.

She is survived by two sons, Ernest and Garth, and one brother, Oscar Bealer, all of Chili. She was also predeceased by four brothers and one sister.
