Raatz, Edward (25 Jan. 1913 - 6 June 1973)

UNITY, WIS. - Edward A. Raatz, 60, route 1, Unity, Wisconsin, died early Tuesday morning at his home of a heart attack.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby with the Rev. James Primley, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Unity, officiating. Burial will be made in the Colby Memorial Cemetery.

Visitations may be made at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Thursday.

Mr. Raatz was born Jan. 25, 1913, in Clark County, town of Green Grove, and was married there on Sept. 26, 1941, to the former Mavis Hotchkiss, who survives him.

He had lived on a farm in the town of Green Grove until his retirement in 1969. He then moved south of Unity.

Raatz, Edward A. (25 Jan 1913 – 5 Jun 1973)

Edward Albert Raatz, 60, died Tuesday, June 5, 1973 at his home in the Town of Brighton, south of Unity. Death was caused by a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 8 at 2 p.m. at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, with burial in the Colby Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Lulloff Funeral Home beginning Thursday at 1 p.m.

Mr. Raatz was born in the Town of Green Grove in Clark County on January 25, 1913, the son of William and Martha Raatz. He was raised on a farm in Green Grove, where he lived until his retirement in 1969. On September 26, 1941 he was married to Mavis Hotchkiss, who survives him. …..(the rest of my copy was cut off)
