Bymers, Paul Sr. (25 Feb 1857 - 16 Jul 1932)
Paul Bymers Sr., passed away July 16 at 11 o’clock P. M. at the home of his son, John Bymers who lives near Veefkind. He was 75 years, 4 months and 19 days. About 2 months ago he underwent an operation from which he did not recover. He came home from the hospital the last three weeks before his death and it was thought he could get well. His wife preceded him in death in 1920. There are three sons: John of Veefkind; William of Auberndale and Pete of Pittsville.
The funeral will be at the John Bymers home at 12 o’clock Tuesday and interment made in the cemetery at Wisconsin Rapids.
Mr. Bymers lived on a farm near Vesper. He made his home the last years with his son, John and family, and since coming to Veefkind to live about five years ago has made many new acquaintances and friends. He had a kind and friendly disposition that made old and young his friends as soon as they got to know him He will be missed by his circle of friends who were used to associating with him as well as the near relatives who have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement.
