Moore, Joseph G. (1821? - 17 May 1894)

Died, at his home in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., on Thursday, May 17th, 1894, Joseph G. Moore, in the 73rd year of his age.

Mr. Moore was one of the old settlers of this section, having come here about the year 1878. He was born in the state of Vermont, but the date of birth we surmise to have been in the year 1821, from the fact that he told the writer a few weeks ago that he was 72 years old and in his 73rd year. As to his family relations we know nothing except that he leaves one son, Obed, who lives in the town of Hull. He was a kindly old man and we should have given him a more extended obituary but have been unable to get the necessary data.
