Happle, Katie (17 MAY 1892)
Married, in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), at St. Killian’s Church, on Tuesday, May 17th, 1892, by Rev. Chas. B. Weikmann, Peter Demmer of this city and Miss Katie, daughter of Wm. Happle, of the town of Hull, Marathon Co.
The groom is one of our best known young men, who has for some time held the position of foreman for the W. C. Co., on this section, and counts his friends by the number of his acquaintances.
The bride is a very estimable young lady, much respected by her many friends. After the ceremony a number of the friends of the contracting parties repaired to the residence of the bride’s parents, where they made merry until well along in the night.
Last evening the happy couple took the train for Chicago and will spend a week or tend days there and other points, when they will return and make their home in this city.
