A Merry Christmas to all.

John Corzett had trade his mules for horses.

Miss Millie Dorr is visiting at Fairchild.

Mrs. M. Snyder has been having a hard siege of the quinsy.

Geo. Whalen transacted business at Fairchild last week.

C. M. Campbell has taken ten acres to clear of Chas. Corbett.

Tom O’Brien, who spent the past year in St. Louis, Mo., has returned home.

We wish the Republican and Press and all its readers a Happy New Year.

A social hop was enjoyed at the home of George Nichols Wednesday evening.

A number of our young people attended quarterly meeting at Loyal Sunday.

Miss Mattie Gibson has returned from Fond du Lac County. She was accompanied by her sister and husband.

Grandma Davidson who has been visiting at C. Benedicts returned to her home in Neillsville last Thursday.

Parents and patrons, visit the schools and show to pupils and teachers that you are interested and that you appreciate their work. It will add a new stimulus and May be the means of doing much toward the progress of your children’s education. Your children’s progress, to some extent depends upon the interest you take in their accomplishment.
