Dan Davidson is hauling staves to Lynn.

Grandma Garvin was 100 years old Christmas.

Roy Savage of Shortville, was seen on our streets last Thursday.

Miss Lelia Palmer is the possessor of a beautiful new organ.

Tom Philpott and wife of Loyal, were here Sunday on a visit to friends.

Charles Acher of Whitehall, is the guest of George and John Begley.

Mesdames Charles and Geeslin of Pine Valley, visited here last week.

Statia Dunn of Beaver, is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Perry Palmer.

The M. E. Church will give an oyster supper Friday evening for the benefit of Rev. Hoffman.

John Vandeberg has cleared twelve acres this winter, which is a great improvement to his farm.

The Sunday School of the Lyons Church will give an entertainment Saturday evening, Jan. 25th, for the benefit of the school.

Several young ladies visited school in Dist. No. 3 one day last week.

J. P. Lastofka has moved onto his farm. Joe has been over the world a good deal and has finally settled down to farming. Success, Joe.

Chas. Sievers, H. Peat, Mrs. Levi Fulwiler and Nellie and Clara McKimm are on the sick list.

News came to us last week that Geo. Trogner, Jr., formerly of this place, was married a short time ago to a lady of Chili.

We understand that Ernest Boyer will move to Loyal and open up a bakery.
