Married, at the residence of Chas. Tessmer in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), by Judge R. B. Salter, Mr. Henry Reeves of this city and Miss Katie Waterpool of Fairchild, Wis.

The bride has been among us but a short time, yet, during that time has made many friends.

The groom has resided in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., and in this city from childhood, and is known to nearly all our residents. He is an industrious energetic young man and has hosts of friends who wish him and his wife a full quota of happiness and prosperity.

The ceremony was performed about 9 o’clock p.m., and immediately thereafter the happy couple and a large number of friends repaired to Colby Hall where a reception and dance were given. All enjoyed themselves till the wee small hours when the party separated to go to their several homes after bidding the bride and groom good night and wishing them a pleasant and prosperous journey through life.

Charley Prentice and a sister of the bride supported them through the trying ordeal.
