The couple made their home on his parents' farm until their death in 1896, when they purchased a farm of their own. In 1924, Mr. and Mrs. Pease moved to Neillsville.

Mr. Pease was treasurer of the Hawk Cheese factory for one year and a lifelong member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are his widow, a son, Emil Pease, Janesville; a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Luebke, DeRidder, La; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
