Laski, Beverly Jean (Marriage - 22 May 1981)
Miss Bevely Jean Laski of 105 W. Linden St., Abbotsford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Laski of Curtiss, was given in marriage by her parents to Dennis Ervin Witt, Route 1, Unity, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Witt of Unity, during an 8 p.m. ceremony performed by the Rec. Emil B. Hodnik, May 22.
Site of the wedding was St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Abbotsford. Music was played by Mrs. Martin Schultz.
The bride was fashioned of Italian silk with pleated skirt. With it she had a veiled picture hat and an arrangement of yellow roses, white chrysanthemums and white baby’s breath.
Miss Debra Laski of Curtiss was maid of honor and Miss Shelia Oestreich, Loyal, the bridesmaid. They wore navy blue dotted swiss empire/princess formals and had daises in their hair. Each held a bouquet of white chrysanthemums, yellow daises and baby’s breath.
Jack Molle of Unity was best man. Gary Laski of Superior was groomsman. Wedding guests were escorted by Donnie Witt, Unity, and Floyd Juedes, Dorchester.
The Trianon Ballroom was the setting for the reception and dance. The Witts are living on Route 1, Unity, and are taking a trip to Europe soon.
The bride graduated from Abbotsford High School and is a student at Mid-State Technical Institute-Marshfield. Her husband, a dairy farmer, is a Loyal High School graduate.
