Hauser anniversary (Married - June 30 1955)

James and Bernadette Hauser of Unity are celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. They attended a special Mass on June 25, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Colby.

They were married June 30, 1955, at St. Mary's parish.

James was born in Colby, the son of Jake and Elsie Hauser. He received his education at Colby Graded and Colby High School.

Bernadette was born in Colby, the daughter of Albert and Hedwig Engeldinger. She attended Little Grove, St. Mary's and Colby High School. Both are retired.

The couple had nine children. They are Bryan (Kathy) Hauser, Merrill; Gayle (Bob) Hauser, Wausau; Bruce (Kerrie) Hauser, Wausau; Amy Duerr, Marshfield; Scott (Nancy) Hauser, Colby; Wendy (Michael) Mertins, Barron; Joel (Heather Lynn) Hauser, Stratford; and Todd (Heather Marie) Hauser, Columbia, Mo. Another daughter, Theresa Kay, died April 1, 1963.
