MODERN WOODMEN OF AMERICA BALL
Entertainment Friday Evening.
An enthusiastic crowd gathered at M. W. A. ball last Friday evening to listen to a program which was given by the R. N. A.
The program opened with a selection by the orchestra, followed by one by the Mandolin club. After the music, Irma Palms rendered a reading. Another selection by the Mandolin club was given. The sketch given by Mrs. C. O. Baker was very instructive as well as interesting and entertaining. In it she discussed the habits and every day life of the mountaineers. James Fradette in his Dutch impersonation was, as usual, enjoyed very much. A dialogue was rendered by home talent, in which the cause of the R. N. A. order was seen in "the right light." The last but not least was a short farce by Ralph VanVoorhis. After another selection by the orchestra, the remainder of the evening was spent in tripping the light fantastic.
