(1852 - 19 Dec 1914) Mrs. Nicholas Blau
died at her home north of Neillsville, Clark County, Dec. 19, 1914,
aged 62 years. Her maiden name was Mary Louise Evans. She was born
at West Bend, Wis., and came to Neillsville in 1867. She was
married to Nicholas Blau in 1880, and they have made their home
here ever since. She was a good neighbor and a kind and loving
mother and wife, and will be much missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband and two sons, Noel and Robert; she
leaves also a sister, Mrs. E.F. Hubbard of Pine Valley and a
brother at Hayward. The funeral was
held at the M.E. Church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. L Colman preaching
the funeral sermon.
