APR 1881 - 29 Jan 1915) Fred Kurth, who
has been in poor health for a long time, died at his home here
Thursday, Jan. 29, 1915, aged 33 years, 9 months and 14 days. He
was born at Black River Falls, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Kurth. He has lived in Neillsville, Clark County for the past 22
years. Thirteen years ago he was married to Miss Emma Steinburg. To
them were born seven children, six of who live to mourn his death.
He was an industrious, hard-working man, doing faithfully what his
hands found to do, as long as his strength was sufficient to work.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church for some time previous to
his death. Besides his wife and children he leaves his parents, one
brother, Arthur, and five sisters: Mrs. Chas. Kapka, Mrs. E.O.
Kelly, Mrs. C.G. Verlin of Stockton, Cal., Mrs. R.N. Neverman of
Fresno; Cal, and Miss Julia Kurth of this city. The funeral was
held Monday at the Lutheran Church, Rev. H. Brandt officiating.
