(20 Jan 1866 - 6 Sep 1915) Willard A. Moffat
died at his home in Hewett, Clark County, Sept. 6, 1915, after a
lingering illness of several years. Deceased was born
at Hartford, Washington Co., Wis., Jan. 20, 1866; came to Clark
County in 1868; lived in Neillsville until 1885 and moved with his
parents to the town of Hewett, which has been his home ever since.
He was married to Laura E. Wing Oct. 1893. He was a man of
good character and principles and was a kind husband and neighbor.
He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, one brother, Eugene of
Hewett, one sister, Sadie of Nome, Alaska. Those that
attended the funeral from away were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Cox of Alma
Center, Mrs. J. Mallery of Whitehall, Mr. and Mrs. A. Wing of
Waupaca.
