County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 08/10/1916 Kleckner, Maynard
(9 Augl 1914 - 6 Augl 1916) Maynard Everett
Kleckner, the little son of Everett L. and Anna F. Kleckner was
born in Neillsville, Clark County, Aug. 9, 1914 and died Aug. 6,
1916 at the home of his grandparents, Mayor and Mrs. Kleckner. He
was taken to the hospital on the first of May and has been sick
ever since. Everything that could possibly be done for him was done
and it seemed at times that he was getting better. But the trouble
proved to be incurable. During the last week of his life he
suffered intensely and passed away Sunday afternoon with abscess on
the liver. Maynard was a
bright, lovable little fellow and the sympathies of their many
friends go out to the stricken parents and grandparent in their
bereavement. The funeral was
held at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the home of Mayor Kleckner,
Rev. L.B. Colman officiating.
