County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 04/08/1915 Schultz, Anna A.
(3 Augl 1855 - 3 Apr 1915) Mrs. Henry Schultz
died very suddenly Saturday night, April 3, 1915 at her home on the
North Side. Her death was probably due to heart disease. She sat
talking with her daughter making some plans for the next day, when
suddenly she fell from her chair and did not regain
consciousness. Mrs. Schultz was
born Aug. 3, 1855 in Germany, her maiden name being Anna A. Runge.
She came to America with her parents in 1866 and settled in
Mayville, Wis. She grew to womanhood there and was married to Henry
Schultz at Mayville, Feb. 12, 1885. They moved to Neillsville,
Clark County in 1900 and settled on a farm in the town of York,
where they lived till 1910, when they moved to the city. She is
survived by her husband, one son, Walter, one daughter, Mr. G.C.
Huntley, both of Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. M. L. Schultz of
Milwaukee and Mrs. Herman Duesterbeck of Delevan and one brother
Carl Runge of Knowles, Wis., and a little granddaughter, Marion
Huntley. She was a woman of
the finest home qualities, devoted to her home and family, a kind
and helpful friend and neighbor. Her death leaves a sad vacancy in
the home. The funeral was
held Wednesday afternoon, Rev. H. Brandt officiating.
