Servaty, Kate (Marriage - 7 Apr 1915)

The Republican and Press was not exactly correct last week in stating that Miss Kate Servaty was going to Belvidere, Ill., to visit. This week comes the announcement that Mr. Joseph A. Hinds of Belvidere and Miss Kate Servaty were united in marriage on the seventh day of April, 1915. By Rev. Wm. H. Fulton, minister of the First Presbyterian Church of Rockford, Ill., at the minister’s residence, in that city.

It is with genuine pleasure that we made the correction of last week’s item and also offer our best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Hinds. The bride is one who bears the good will of all our people. We who have known of her life of helpfulness and cheerful sacrifice for the good of others can only hope that she will find in her new home the happiness she so richly deserves. To us the groom is a stranger, but to him we can offer congratulations. He has secured a worthy wife and homemaker, one who all her life has been devoted to deeds of usefulness and unselfishness. We wish them joy.
