County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 05/13/1915 Prock, Bertha
(Marriage - 8 May 1915) Mr. Adolph Wepfer
and Miss Bertha Prock were united in marriage at the Catholic
Parsonage May 8, 1915, Rev. Fr. Weber officiating. The groom was
attended by Mr. Herbert Brown and the bride by her sister, Miss
Catherine Prock. The groom is the son of Mrs. Anna Wepfer. He was
brought up here (Neillsville, Clark Co.), graduated from
Neillsville, High School in the class of 1907 and after serving his
apprenticeship in the Sniteman Drug Store, he took his course in
the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, and has for some time past
again been employed by the C.C. Sniteman Co. His thorough knowledge
of his profession, his courteous interest in customers and his
broad general intelligence have made him deservedly popular. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Prock, and is a young lady of rare
personal charm and mental aptitude. She also has a wide
acquaintance with the public by reason of her employment in the
W.J. Marsh Store, and has many friends all about the community. The young couple
went immediately to Norwalk, Wis., where the groom took possession
of a drug store he recently purchased. We offer our best wishes for
their prosperity and happiness.
