County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 09/23/1915 Neitzel, Laura
(Marriage - 21 Sep 1915) Miss Laura
Neitzel, daughter of Mrs. Susan Neitzel of the town of Lynn, Clark
County, Wis., and Mr. Floyd Pietenpol, so of Mr. and Mrs. Pietenpol
of the town of York, Clark County, Wis., were happily married at
the German Lutheran parsonage Tuesday afternoon, when Rev. Reiff
pronounce the scared words which united this worthy pair in the
holy bonds of matrimony. Miss Elsie Neitzel, sister of the bride,
and Miss Harriet Pietenpol, sister of the groom, were maids of
honor, while Mr. Arthur Short and Mrs. Arthur Berg acted as
groomsmen. After the ceremony the bridal party repaired to the home
of the bride’s mother in the town of Lynn, where a wedding
reception was held. The bridal party
autoed over here just in time for the newly weds to catch the 4:50
train for Milwaukee, where they went for a short wedding trip and
visit to the state fair. They will also visit Sheboygan County
relatives before returning to take up life on the farm in York. The bridal pair
need no introduction to our readers, they being well known and
popular young people, who for their excellent character and
sterling worth, are held in high esteem by a large circle of
friends and acquaintances, to all who, that they will take up their
residence here, is a source of much pleasure and satisfaction. We
join with their many friends in extending to them congratulations
and best wishes. (Granton News)
