County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 01/20/1916 Chase, Mary
(Marriage - 8 Jan 1916) Mr. Ernest Rogers
and Miss Mary Chase were united in marriage Jan. 8th, 1916 at
Conrath, Rev. T.D. Van Buren officiating. The groom was born at
York, Clark County, Wis. and since moved to Hannibal, being the son
of Mr. and Mrs. N. Rogers. He is a young man of energy,
intelligence and public spirit. The bride is a young lady of rare
good sense and high womanly qualities, well fitted in every way to
be a homemaker. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.H. Chase of
Christie, Clark County, Wis. After finishing the country school she
attended high school at Neillsville, also taking a course in
domestic science. They left at once for Hannibal, where the groom
has a position. We join in wishing them much joy and happiness.
