County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 06/22/1916 Reindel, Elma
(Marriage - 14 JUN 1916) Mr. Arnold Worchel
and Miss Elma Reindel were married at the home of the bride at 3
p.m. June 14th, 1916, Rev. Brandt officiating. The groom was
attended by Harold Reidel and William Reindel, AND Beatrice Miller
was the bridesmaid. Leah Reindel, sister of the bride was the
matron of honor. Helen Reindel, sister of the bride, carried the
flowers. The bride wore a dress of Georgette Satin. The groom wore
the customary black. The house was beautifully decorated with white
lilies and paper bells. At six o’clock a splendid supper was
served to about two hundred friends and relatives. At eight
o’clock dancing commenced. A large new machine shed with a
new laid matched floor made a fine hall. Music was furnished by a
Harp Orchestra. This was probably
the most largely attended wedding ever held in Clark County, about
fifty automobiles and teams came carrying guests, besides the near
neighbors who came a foot, all of which betokened the high esteem
in which the young couple is held and the good will with which they
begin married life.
