In 1920 a fire destroyed the buildings in downtown Curtiss, Wisconsin. A new garage was built the same year by Richard Schoeneman and operated by Henry Aldinger and Wm. Klessig, and later by Wm. Hennlich.

The garage was known as the Curtiss Garage and was a Ford dealt ship for a number of years.
