L. H. McQUIRE.
Mr. McQuire is proprietor of the leading hotel, the "Forest Queen House," in Thorp. He was born in Canada in 1854 and came to Vermont in 1867. He lived in Vermont and New Hampshire until about the year 1876, when he removed to Eau Claire county, Wis. In 1884 he came to Thorp, in Clark County, Wisconsin, and two years later purchased the Forest Queen Hotel. In a different part of the village he runs a liquor store, and in a still different portion, a meat market. He was married in Eau Claire county in 1884. The hotel is neat, convenient and well managed.
