MAR 1913 - 6 Augl 1944) Mrs. Lloyd Olson
(Serina Minsaas), 3`, daughter of Mrs. John Minsaas, passed away at
Mt. Washington Sanitarium at Eau Claire on Sunday Aug. 6, 1944 at
3:00 a.m., after being a patient there for the past seven
years. She was born in
the town of Beaver, Clark County, Wis., March 7, 1913 and received
her education there and in Greenwood. She attended United Lutheran
Church here, but was confirmed while in the Sanitarium. On Oct. 24, 1936
she was united in marriage to Lloyd Olson. Shortly after her
marriage she became ill and has been at the sanitarium ever
since. She is survived by
her husband; her mother, three brothers, Malro, at home; Julius of
Owen; Paul of the town of Eaton: five sisters, Mrs. Frank (Ida)
Tetzlaff, La Crosse; Mrs. Palmer (Enga) Nelson, Canton, S.D.; Mrs.
Clarence (Agnes) Henchen, Globe; Mrs. Wm. (Mattie) Hansen,
Neillsville, and Mrs. Laura Bostwick of Fargo, N.D. Her father passed
away in 1933 and a sister, Anna, in 1930. Funeral services
were conducted at the United Lutheran Church on Wednesday, Aug. 9th
at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. A.E. Norson officiating. She was laid to
rest in the Greenwood Cemetery. She died of TB.
