Withee, Ancil (1 MAY 1830 - 8 Apr 1908)

Ancil Withee quietly passed away on Wednesday morning, the 8th of April, 1908 at the home of Alba Varney. He was born in Maine May 1st, 1830, where he leaves a sister and a daughter. He was a member of the free Will Baptist Church for many years and lived an exemplary Christian life, gaining the respect of many by his kindly and obliging disposition. He was much sought after in his earlier years as a singer, in which capacity he had made himself very proficient. His funeral service was conducted from the Methodist Episcopal Church on Thursday afternoon.
