GREENWOOD GLEANER (Greenwood, Wis.) 02/04/1909 Ware, Emma (28 JAN
1861 - 26 Jan 1909) Mrs. Emma Ware
died at the state hospital at Oshkosh, Tuesday, Jan. 26, 1909, at 6
p.m., aged 48 yeas, 11 months and 26 days. Deceased was born
in Stockbridge, Calumet Co. Jan. 28, 1861 and was married in Oct.
1879 to Julian H. Ware. They made their home at that place until
three years later, the fall of 1882, when she came to Clark County,
Wis. with her husband and two children, settling on a farm 5 ½
miles south of this city, where she has lived for the past 21
years. Her husband,
Julian H. Ware, was hurt at a *barn raising on the Huntzicker farm
in June 1896 and died twenty-four hours later from his
injuries. The grim reaper
has taken a kind and loving parent, a mother who had lived her life
well and nobly, she was kind and affectionate and a sincere
Christian. She leaves two children to mourn her death, Mrs. Harry
Heaslett of Loyal and Julius H. Ware of Eaton. The sympathy of the
surrounding community and of all who knew her is extended to the
bereaved ones. The funeral
services were held at the Presbyterian Church in this city,
Saturday afternoon at 1:30, Rev. W.T. Hendren conducting the
services. The remains were place at rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
